ResponsibilitiesMajor duties include:
- Managed several research studies within the lab, focused on risk factors and treatment for anxiety and trauma-related pathology (e.g., anxiety sensitivity, PTSD, suicide risk).
- Manage outpatient clinic procedures including scheduling and administrative duties.
- Recruit and schedule research participants.
- Conduct phone screening and diagnostic interviews to assess eligibility for research studies and/or outpatient treatment.
- Conduct neurophysiology (EEG) and cognitive assessments (MOCA, RBANS).
- Build and manage surveys using Qualtrics Survey Software.
- Draft IRB protocol submissions and revisions.
- Assist with grant preparation and submission.
- Analyze data using statistical software such as SPSS.
- Program computer-based tasks using software such as E-Prime.
- Author manuscripts and conference presentations.
- Supervise undergraduate students working in the lab.
This position will also include professional development opportunities, such as:
- Submitting and presenting at national conferences.
- Publishing peer-reviewed research articles.
- Participating in lab-based training on research methodology.
- Mentorship regarding graduate school applications.
A four-year college degree (obtained or planned to graduate by Summer 2024)
- Experience in a research lab for at least one year within Psychology or a related field.

The position is ideal for someone who is graduating or has graduated with a degree in psychology or neuroscience, has some undergraduate research experience, and plans to pursue a graduate degree in clinical psychology or a related field.
