Description
SAIC seeks a highly experienced and energetic Requirements Analyst to directly support the modernization of the space launch ranges, meeting mission requirements, providing range capabilities, and supporting the Assured Access to Space (AATS) mission. The overarching purpose of this program is to perform system modernization and digital transformation projects that will enable the acceleration of the space launch cadence to enable the Spaceport of the future. In support of the government customer, the SAIC Program Manager, and the Chief Engineer; the Requirements Analyst is responsible for analyzing user needs and program requirements for the design, development, and support of the Applications. Provides SLD TPOCs with recommendations on approval of new requirements when the baseline is impacted.
Job Duties:
Develops, analyzes, and maintains tools that support and automate processes for establishing and maintaining consistency of a product's or solution's performance, functional, and technical attributes and its requirements, design, and technical specifications throughout its lifecycle
Ensures configuration identification by reviewing design release documents for completeness and proper authorizations
Provides SLD TPOCs with recommendations on approval of new requirements when the baseline is impacted
Develops and maintains Technical Requirements Documents.
Qualifications
Required Education:
- Bachelors and nine (9) years or more experience; Masters and seven (7) years or more experience ;
Required Experience:
- 8 years Requirements Engineering experience
- Demonstrated ability to establish effective working relationships with other government agencies and mission partners
- Expert knowledge of the system engineering process, to include risk and opportunity management, requirements management, configuration management, and cross program integration of system engineering issues.
- Experience with Digital Engineering tools and procedures
- Working knowledge of systems engineering documentation to include concepts of operations, system requirements documents, interface control documents, and verification and test
- Ability to provide technical and programmatic direction on the development, integration, and use of requirement management tools
- Knowledge of fundamental model development and its application to architecture or system design
Desired Experience:
- Managing requirements for geographically dispersed large-scale 24/7 operational systems
- Experience Modernizing DoD systems
- Experience in requirement management for space related systems
Clearance:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active Secret Clearance.
