What You’ll Be Doing:
Our Representative, Client Services candidates can anticipate a role that plays a pivotal part in ensuring client satisfaction while working directly with the Client Services department and being responsible for completing patient and provider notifications to inform of medical treatment determinations in accordance with departmental policies, regulatory requirements, and client contractual agreements. What You’ll Be Doing:
- Receive inbound calls in a Call Center environment from providers, health plans and patients.
- Issuing referrals to Specialists
- Make telephonic outreach to health plans, provider offices and patients.
- Complete notifications telephonically as well as by generating letter notifications to inform of medical treatment determinations.
- Utilize engagement strategies to build rapport.
- Accurately document information received from members, provider offices, and health plan clients into Evolent’s online clinical system.
- Perform clerical duties such as faxing and scanning documents, creating shipping labels, preparing letters and parcels using office machines, such as printers, photocopies, scanners, facsimile machines, telephone and voice mail systems and computer-based programs such as Microsoft Office.
- Support UM functions by performing activities that do not require evaluation or interpretation of clinical information.
- Assist in completing daily tasks by participating in meetings and working closely with the management team and Client Services staff.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Required and Preferred:
- 1+ year call center experience. – Required
- Health care/pharmacy experience. – Preferred
- Customer Service experience. – Preferred
- Bilingual English and Spanish. - Preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organization. - Required
- Strong listening skills. - Required
- Ability to use positive language and exercise patience. - Required
- Good Interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills. - Required
- Integrity and discretion to maintain confidentiality of members, employee, and physician data. - Required
- Ability to work in a team environment. - Required
- Willingness to learn new skills. - Required
- Strong work ethic built on a foundation of proactivity and teamwork. - Required
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office. - Required
Technical Requirements:
We require that all employees have the following technical capability at their home: High speed internet over 10 Mbps and, specifically for all call center employees, the ability to plug in directly to the home internet router. These at-home technical requirements are subject to change with any scheduled re-opening of our office locations.

The expected base salary/wage range for this position is $17.30-$18.00/hr. This position is also eligible for a bonus component that would be dependent on pre-defined performance factors. As part of our total compensation package, Evolent is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to qualifying employees. All compensation determinations are based on the skills and experience required for the position and commensurate with experience of selected individuals, which may vary above and below the stated amounts.
