Description
Design, develop, and write complex month end and quarterly end financial reports for GM OnStar Global Connected Service (GCS) Finance organization using Structured Query Language(SQL) queries, in Cognos Business Intelligence reporting environment, and Oracle database. Design and develop reporting solution using Cognos Business Intelligence (BI) tool to automate and schedule daily and monthly reports. Optimize and tune the SQL queries for high performance and quicker run times. Identify, modify, pull, and integrate complex data stored in Global Advisor Application (GAA) and SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system database, to change data format for GCS stakeholders’ requirements, and produce high quality Factory Unit Sales (FUS), Dealer Stock, Deferred Revenue, and related Business to Business (B2B) reports to GCS managers. Perform data discovery, data mining, predictive modeling, simulation, and statistical analysis of OnStar vehicle activation data and analyze, observe, and report on the distribution of OnStar vehicle lifecycle behavior including new vehicle orders by dealers, factory production, vehicle delivery to customer, and OnStar activation of vehicle.
Additional Description
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or Business Intelligence. Twelve months’ experience as Reporting Analyst or related. Must also have experience with developing and writing month end and quarterly end financial reports for Finance organization using Structured Query Language (SQL) queries, in Cognos Business Intelligence reporting environment, and Oracle database.
