Job Description
As a Repair Technician (also known as Instrument Repair Specialist, Onsite Mobile Repair Technician), you'll perform basic to intermediate inspection and repairs on surgical instruments using various tools. This is a truck-based field service position that includes overnight travel of up to 30%. You'll work within the assigned territory on a mobile repair truck, and frequent trips inside hospitals are required.

- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience (e.g., hands-on repair, assembly, product testing, use of small hand tools, small engine repair, cell phone and electronics repair, testing, or re-builds, carpentry, circuit board assembly and repair, sterile processing, industrial sewing, jewelry repair, maintenance, construction, automotive repair).
- Must be able to meet flexible schedules with early/late hours and occasional overnight/out of state travel, pass a DOT medical/ physical exam, comply with all DOT regulations, have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record, and be at least 21 years old.
