Shift/Pay Rate:
- Monday - Friday (6am to 2:30pm): $16/hour
- Sunday - Thursday (2pm to 10:30pm): $17/hour
- Sunday - Thursday (10pm to 6:30am): $19/hour
PURPOSE: The Level I Technician position is a full-time, non-exempt position responsible for supporting Repair Operations to ensure an organized and timely process for completing repair production orders and projects.
SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS: The Level I Technician’s primary role is to coordinate with their assigned Repair Supervisor and higher-level technicians to take on and complete tasks that maintain or improve the repair process and achieve performance goals for the Repair Team. This is an entry-level position.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Technician Duties:
· Pre-screen product to determine initial status
· Perform product testing as necessary
· Using basic soldering tools for replacing components after appropriate training
· Cleaning product when needed
· Perform basic troubleshooting and repair after appropriate training
· Work with Engineers and higher-level techs to gain knowledge and skills
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
· Basic understanding of electronics is preferred
· Perform configuration and fault management
· Must possess good verbal and written communication skills
· Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy
· Ability to be flexible with job duties and scope of work
· Demonstrated ability to perform tasks to completion
· Ability to work effectively individually and as part of a team
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, effectively balancing multiple concurrent assignments

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
· Ability to perform tasks involving moderately heavy objects (20 to 90 pounds)
· Frequent lifting, bending, stooping, squatting, reaching, pushing and pulling of boxes, as well as frequent movement (walking) throughout the lab.
