Knowledge/skills:
- Experience in customer service and/or property management is preferred; good knowledge of office administration/Office management.
- Good oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Computer literacy is required.
Education and work experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One year or more of customer service.
- No college degree or real estate license is required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming calls from current tenants, prospective tenants, clients, owners, vendors, etc.
- Convert incoming inquiries to confirmed showing appointments.
- Assist prospective tenants in finding properties that best meet their needs.
- Collect rent and properly organize rent payments.
- Answer basic questions regarding maintenance, property issues, leasing, etc.
- Take detailed messages for agents and property managers.
- Will work with multiple databases, including Chime, Showing Time, FlexMLS, and Appfolio.
- Communicate effectively via phone, email, and/or in person.
- Remain knowledgeable of all homes on the market.
- Overcome obstacles closing a sale.
- Responsible for showing rental homes to prospective tenants.
- Assist in general office work/tasks.
Requirements:
- Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Must have a reliable vehicle.
- Must be able to work nights and weekends.
- Must possess excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Must be able to maintain a professional appearance.
- Must be able to work independently and with a team.
- Computer literacy is required.
