Position Summary: Responsible for determining the rental and parts needs of customers calling or coming into the store.
Essential Functions
- Opens and closes work orders for service based on customer needs using the prescribed software and hardware following established procedures.
- Communicates with customers by phone and in person regarding parts pricing and availability as well as the status of service work orders. Explains any need for additional work or extra charges.
- Quotes and schedules rental units for rental customers.
Other Functions:
- Exercises judgment in Customer satisfaction issues. Seeks approval when required.
- Coordinates and communicates with other store personnel as needed.
- Insures safe operating conditions and practices at the store.
- Complies with DOT file keeping requirements.
- Other duties as assigned.
