We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Residential and Commercial Solar Sales Professionals to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for generating leads, generating system designs and proposals, conducting consultations, and closing sales for residential and/or commercial solar energy systems. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Renewable Energy, solid lead generation skills, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in sales.
Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation: Utilize various methods such as cold calling, networking, and attending events to generate leads and build a pipeline of potential prospects.
- Consultative Selling: Consult with business and homeowners to understand their energy needs, assess their property for solar viability, and provide customized solar solutions.
- Proposal Development: Prepare solar system designs and detailed proposals using Aurora to outline the prospect’s benefits of solar energy, including cost savings, environmental impact, and return on investment.
- Sales Presentations: Deliver compelling presentations to homeowners and/or commercial prospects, effectively communicating the features and benefits of our solar systems and services.
- Negotiation and Closing: Skillfully negotiate terms and pricing to secure contracts, overcoming objections and addressing the prospect’s concerns as needed.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects throughout the sales process, providing exceptional service and support to ensure satisfaction.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams such as installation crews and project managers to coordinate the installation process and ensure a smooth customer experience.
- Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and government incentives to effectively position our solar solutions in the market.
Qualifications:
- A proven track record in sales, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in residential and/or commercial solar system sales, is preferred.
- Strong understanding of solar energy principles and technologies or willingness to undergo training.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a drive to exceed targets and achieve results.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team with a collaborative and proactive approach.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Aurora solar system design and proposal software, and CRM software for lead tracking and reporting is preferred.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel to customer locations.

Work Schedule & Location: Full-time (Remote); however, frequent travel throughout the greater Houston, San Antonio, and Dallas, Texas areas is required for customer engagement.
