WHY THIS ROLE IS VALUABLE
- Partner with the VP of Renewables to facilitate strategic planning processes and develop and manage plans to ensure successful execution of ESG strategy
- Support the development of actionable business plans and establish appropriate tracking and reporting mechanisms
- Procure, compile and analyze data from real estate portfolio companies to drive portfolio-wide intelligence and actionable insights relative to Renewable Energy deployment, battery storage and EV charging
- Stay informed about local regulations, incentives, and permitting requirements related to solar energy, battery storage and EV charging installations, ensuring portfolio company compliance with relevant standards and guidelines
- Support delivery of moderately complex projects by providing strategic direction to project teams, peers, and stakeholders to drive results
- Support ongoing renewable deployment efforts at real estate portfolio companies
- Support the development of presentation materials for portfolio companies and internal meetings
- Build and maintain strong relationships with portfolio companies throughout the project development process, ensuring high levels of satisfaction
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, finance, or technology
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the Renewable Energy or EV charging industries.
- Strong understanding of Power Purchase Agreements
- Basic understanding of photovoltaic financing structures
- Familiarity with Commercial & Industrial solar project development
- Demonstrated success working effectively with people at all levels of an organization
- Ability to think creatively and outside the box to simplify complex metrics and information into easy-to-understand concepts, presentations, and updates
- Expert verbal and written communication skills and experience in leading communications strategy
- Demonstrated aptitude for data analytics and process improvement
- Ability to work collaboratively and in a team environment
- Outstanding record of professional and academic achievement
- Expert level proficiency in Excel and the entire Microsoft office suite
