The Team You’ll Work With …
Fireclay Tile is currently seeking a Part-Time Sketchup Rendering Contractor who will support our Lead Renderer in creating 2D and 3D visual representations of tile installations, including backsplashes, bathrooms, pools, fireplaces, and much more. The ideal candidate for the job will have varied interests in residential and commercial design, be an avid SketchUp user, and have a love for color, pattern, and most importantly tile! This is a remote position so you must have access to your own work/office space and computer equipment. We also require that you have your own SketchUp Pro and SU Podium license. This is an hourly part-time position and pays $24-$28 an hour.
The opportunities you will have …
- Produce 3D Sketchup renderings at the direction of our Lead Renderer based on specifications from our Sales Team.
- Deliver drawings to meet specific and quick deadlines (24-48 hour Turnaround)
- Regularly communicate via phone and email with our Lead Renderer
- Track your time for billing purposes
- Clearly communicate your weekly availability and the number of drawings you expect to complete in a specific time frame.

About You …
- Proficient in SketchUp and LayOut
- Experience working with SU Podium
- Proficient in drafting architectural drawings
- Knowledge of various interior design materials: surfaces, flooring, appliances, fabrics, hardware, etc.
- Knowledge of standard dimensions for Interiors
- College degree and/or previous job experience in the design field
- Minimum 1 year of work experience in a drafting capacity
- Experience working with interior designers and architects, or experience working as a designer
- Have a flexible schedule
- LOVE building Sketchup models
- Strong math and problem solving skills
- Detail oriented
- Strong organization ability
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to take direction and ask questions when necessary
- Are fun, passionate, proactive and learn quickly
