Description:
Air General, a national cargo handling company, is seeking a full-time Import/Export Remote Agent to join our
Remote Support team located in Houston, TX. This Remote Agent has a focus on customer service and strict
adherence to safety and security procedures. Duties include documentation, data entry and great customer service.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Customer Service 3 year experience
- Must have experience SmartKargo (import/export , message monitor etc).
- Ability to utilize Google Drive and use of Microsoft Office.
- Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings, background checks, and airport/government security
background checks
- Must be able to pass a drug test
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Must be able to obtain valid airport I.D. badge.
- Must have intermediate computer skills
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be able to clearly understand and communicate in English when performing essential job functions
- Must be available to work varied shifts, including nights, and occasionally on weekends, and holiday

Responsibilities:
- Keep required training up to date within allowed timelines
- Adhere to all FAA, Airport, TSA, CBP, USDA and Air General safety and security procedures, and
immediately report any discrepancies to a supervisor or manager.
- Review and understand all shipping documentation
- Monitor multiple email accounts and respond to customer inquiries
- Provide customers with information concerning the status of their shipments.
- Provide support to Air General cities
- Be fully aware of Customs rules and regulations.
- Reconcile Master and House air waybills, as applicable against ACE Customs systems.
- Data capture Export consignments
- Verify booking details and request corrections where applicable
- Handle, prepare, and manifest export flights for multiple carriers/cities
- Transmit Customs for multiple carriers and cities
- Work independently as well as with a team to problem solve and support multiple cities.
- Send arrival notices for International inbound shipments for multiple carriers/cities
- Prepare transfer manifests and notify accordingly for multiple carriers/cities
- Anything additional requested by Supervisor or Management
