Job Description:
Cisco Digital Network Architecture (DNA) cluster and preparing the environment for
the advanced fabric configuration that is explained below:
a1 VIRTUAL NETWORKS (VN): Configuration of total of up to (10) VNs
including the mandatory virtual networks needed to successfully
deploy SDA.
2. LAN AUTOMATION: Preparing the underlying
network infrastructure in order to implement the SDA fabric. The LAN
automation feature saves much time and allows DNAC to automatically
select from the IP address pool.
3. DEVICE DISCOVERY AND INVENTORY: Configure the ISIS as the
preferred IGP protocol extending layer 3 to the edge switches.
4. SOFTWARE AND PATCH MANAGEMENT: Updating network access device software via DNAC
5. DEVICE CONFIGURATION TEMPLATE: Define and configure DNAC to
push the configuration template to all network access devices. DNAC
provides the enforcement of consistent configuration policy across all
device types.
6. APPLICATION POLICY: End to end LAN/WAN Quality of
Service (QoS) using EasyQoS via DNAC.
7. FABRIC VIRTUAL NETWORK: Configure fabric virtual configuration in
order to provide connectivity within the SDA fabric over the virtual networks
to endpoint devices.
8. FABRIC INTER-VRF AND EXTERNAL CONNECTIVITY: Assist and configure
the SMBC fabric for external or inter-Virtual Network (VN) communication
and traffic separation.
9. IDENTITY POLICY AND ISE INTEGRATION: Cisco ISE
integration with Cisco DNAC for security enforcement. ISE provides
identity-based network access via 802.1X authentication. ISE provides
micro-segmentation via Cisco TrustSec (CTS).
10. ACCESS POLICY: Access policy with Cisco TrustSec
using SGT Static/Dynamic assignment, intra-VN segmentation, inter-VN
segmentation and SGT static mapping.
11. WIRELESS FABRIC: Configure wireless fabric mode which is the new
mode introduced into SDA. The Wireless LAN Controller (WLC) unified
wireless responsibility will continue to maintain AP and client registration
connections in addition to radio resource management.
12. MULTICAST: Support multicast routing traffic per each Virtual Network.
13. ASSURANCE TELEMETRY: Configure network access devices to provide
telemetry streaming to DNAC in order to report health and visibility
statistics.
- 14. DEVICE ADMINISTRATION: Configure local DNAC User roles for Role[1]Based Access Control (RBAC)
