Job Title: Remote Professor/Lecturer of Economics

Location: Remote (Fall or Summer Program)

Position Overview: We are seeking a qualified Professor/Lecturer in Economics to join our esteemed university abroad for a semester-long remote position. The ideal candidate must be a native English speaker and currently hold a position as a Professor or Lecturer at a globally recognized university within the top 10 to 500-600 rankings. This role requires expertise in both macro and microeconomics, and candidates must possess a Ph.D. degree in Economics.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and deliver comprehensive lectures, seminars, and tutorials in macro and microeconomics, adhering to curriculum standards and learning objectives.
2. Utilize innovative teaching methods and technology to engage students in remote learning environments effectively.
3. Provide constructive feedback and support to students to enhance their understanding and critical thinking skills in economics.
4. Stay updated on current trends, research, and developments in the field of economics and integrate relevant insights into teaching materials.
5. Mentor and guide students in their academic pursuits, including research projects, papers, and presentations.
6. Collaborate with Scholege staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality educational programs and experiences.
7. Maintain necessary communication with students through virtual office hours, email, and online platforms to address their queries and concerns.

Qualifications:

1. Ph.D. degree in Economics from a reputable institution.
2. Currently teaching the course at a Globally Ranked Top 10-500-600 university or college.
3. Demonstrated expertise and teaching experience in both macro and microeconomics at the university level.
4. Native English speaker with strong communication and presentation skills.
5. Proficiency in utilizing technology for remote teaching, including video conferencing, learning management systems, and online collaboration tools.
6. Commitment to fostering an inclusive and diverse learning environment that encourages student engagement and success.
7. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting, demonstrating adaptability and flexibility.
