Job Title: Remote Professor/Lecturer of Economics
Location: Remote (Fall or Summer Program)
Position Overview: We are seeking a qualified Professor/Lecturer in Economics to join our esteemed university abroad for a semester-long remote position. The ideal candidate must be a native English speaker and currently hold a position as a Professor or Lecturer at a globally recognized university within the top 10 to 500-600 rankings. This role requires expertise in both macro and microeconomics, and candidates must possess a Ph.D. degree in Economics.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver comprehensive lectures, seminars, and tutorials in macro and microeconomics, adhering to curriculum standards and learning objectives.
- Utilize innovative teaching methods and technology to engage students in remote learning environments effectively.
- Provide constructive feedback and support to students to enhance their understanding and critical thinking skills in economics.
- Stay updated on current trends, research, and developments in the field of economics and integrate relevant insights into teaching materials.
- Mentor and guide students in their academic pursuits, including research projects, papers, and presentations.
- Collaborate with Scholege staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality educational programs and experiences.
- Maintain necessary communication with students through virtual office hours, email, and online platforms to address their queries and concerns.
Qualifications:
- Ph.D. degree in Economics from a reputable institution.
- Currently teaching the course at a Globally Ranked Top 10-500-600 university or college.
- Demonstrated expertise and teaching experience in both macro and microeconomics at the university level.
- Native English speaker with strong communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in utilizing technology for remote teaching, including video conferencing, learning management systems, and online collaboration tools.
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and diverse learning environment that encourages student engagement and success.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting, demonstrating adaptability and flexibility.
