The Cornell SC Johnson College of Business invites applicants for a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer to serve as the Don and Margi Berens Professor of Entrepreneurship position in our Management and Organizations area, with a school affiliation in the Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School of Management. 

 

The intended start date of this position is July 1, 2024. The position will be based in Ithaca, NY.

 

Responsibilities of the position include teaching entrepreneurship-related classes and help to shape the School’s entrepreneurship curriculum.  The ideal candidate will possess an MBA or equivalent degree as well as significant experience both in entrepreneurial ventures and teaching at the university level.

 

It is expected that our faculty teach across multiple schools within the College of Business. The Cornell SC Johnson College of Business (established on July 1, 2016) combines three Schools: the Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School of Management (Johnson), the Charles H. Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management (Dyson), and the Nolan School of Hotel Administration (Nolan).

 

The Johnson School offers MBA, Accelerated MBA, Executive MBA, and Ph.D. programs. Courses and programs are taught at Cornell’s main Ithaca campus, the Cornell Tech campus in New York City, and other locations across the globe.

The hiring offer for this position is $100,000 to $185,000 depending on education, experience, discipline, rank, and relevant skills.
