French Adjunct Lecturer

The Department of Foreign Languages & Literatures at the State University of New York at Oneonta invites applications for a potential French Adjunct Lecturer position, beginning with three courses in Fall 2024. The initial appointment will be for one semester. Expectations include, but are not limited to, teaching three in-person sections of French: FREN 1001, Intermediate & Advanced French Language, and French Civilization (at the Intermediate-High level).The Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures has major and minor programs in French and Spanish as well as the language part of French and Spanish Education. We are a small department with one full-time French faculty and five full-time Spanish faculty. Class sizes are capped at 25 students.
