Relief Supervisor (2-10p shift) for Behavior Treatment and Training Center (BTTC)
Role Responsibilities
The BTTC Relief Supervisor works under the direct supervision of BTTC Shift Supervisor and is accountable to the BTTC Manager. The BTTC Relief Supervisor works directly with children with intellectual or developmental disabilities who display aggressive and self-injurious behaviors. The Relief Supervisor is responsible for the daily care of clients, providing supervision, safety, and assistance with self-help and daily living activities. The BTTC Relief Supervisor implements behavior analysis programs and appropriate intervention, conducts educational & recreational programs, records data, and performs and assists clients in performing household tasks involving housekeeping and maintenance of group home. The Relief Supervisor is responsible for supervision of the shift in the absence of the Shift Supervisor, and communicates with the BTTC Senior Manager as well as other Shift Supervisors and assigned staff. The Relief Supervisor is responsible and accountable for the adherence to the compliance policy.
Salary
- $17.00 hourly
Required Education and/or Certifications, Experience, Skills
- High School Diploma/G.E.D.
Preferred Education and/or Certifications, Experience, Skills
- Experience and ability to work with others and to work patiently and effectively with persons who exhibit challenging behaviors and ability to manage such behaviors at BTTC as a Residential Trainer in good standing.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities who display aggressive and self-injurious behaviors.
Job Related Physical Requirements
- Ability to perform SAMA and CPR.
- Must be able to perform light (15lb), pushing, stooping, light carrying (15lb), repeated bending, reaching above shoulder, simple grasping, hearing, walking and sitting.
- Must have the ability to see, write, operate office equipment, and operate motor vehicle and have depth perception.
- Qualified individual must be able to perform these functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
