Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our team. As an Electrical Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating electrical new construction, maintenance and repair activities. You will ensure the efficient operation of electrical systems and equipment, while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise a team of electricians and technicians, providing guidance and support
- Plan and schedule electrical maintenance activities, including preventive maintenance and repairs
- Conduct inspections to identify electrical issues and recommend appropriate solutions
- Troubleshoot electrical problems and perform repairs as needed
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate electrical work for projects or facility upgrades
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and equipment documentation
- Train and mentor team members on electrical procedures and best practices
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in electrical engineering is preferred
- Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor or similar role in an industrial setting
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, schematics, and mechanical components
- Familiarity with high voltage systems and industrial maintenance practices
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with a strong attention to detail
- Ability to supervise a team effectively and prioritize tasks
- Knowledge of HVAC systems and facilities management is a plus
- Experience in project management is preferred
