Responsibilities:
- Supports the design, development, integration, testing, and operation of large and complex human spaceflight programs.
- Possess a background in spaceflight Reliability/Maintainability engineering.
- Supports programs for all life-cycle phases from kick-off and development (SRR, PDR, CDR, etc.) through product delivery for flight and operations.
- Reliability requirements development, verification and validation (V&V), and closure.
- Develops, reviews and updates documentation (i.e., plans, assessments, analysis, etc.).
- Performs/reviews maintainability assessments and operational procedure evaluations.
- Provides reliability support to programs and payload projects.
- Provide guidance/oversight to less senior teammates for RM activities.
Required Experience/Education:
- Candidate must possess a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or equivalent technical degree and 8 years minimuim of Reliability Engineering experience.
- Knowledge of statistics and reliability theory.
- Reliability analysis such as Initial Assessment of Criticality, Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Critical Items List, single point failure assessments, quantitative reliability analysis (QRA), and Probabilistic Risk Assessment (PRA).

- Ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic environment and deliver high quality products on schedule.
Security Clearance Requirement:
- An active Secret clearance (or higher), or the ability to get and maintain a Secret clearance is required.
Preferred Experience:
- Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) experience
- Reliability engineering experience in the aerospace industry, Reliability Engineering experience at a NASA Center highly desired.
- Experience in a commercial space program
