The Registered Respiratory Therapist performs Cardiopulmonary duties following hospital policy/procedure under general supervision. This can include administering respiratory treatments, airway management, ventilator management, blood gases, and other noninvasive cardiology procedures. This individual will be held to a high level of customer service representation and will be an active participant in the continuous quality improvement process. Serves as a resource to other employees.

One year of critical care experience working with open-heart patients
Licenses and Certifications
* Registered Respiratory Therapist
* Respiratory Care Professional
* Healthcare Provider (CPR)
* ACLS Certification
* Neonatal Resuscitation Provider
* ACLS Instructor
Qualifications
* Must become certified in NRP and ACLS within 8 months of employment.
* Must obtain either the Adult Critical Care Specialty (ACCS) OR become a Certified ACLS Instructor within 18 months of hire.
* Must have at least 1 year of critical care experience working with open heart patients.
