Roles & Responsibilities

• ​Assess patient for appropriate type and frequency of treatment and develops a plan of care based on diagnosis.
• Implement and monitor patient care plan and equipment.
• Monitor, record and communicate patient condition.
• Perform advanced respiratory care modalities.
• Evaluate respiratory practice, administration of medications, and treatment based on patient outcome.
• Educate the patient and family about the health condition and provides information about community support groups and other available programs.
• Respond to emergency resuscitation team code.

Minimum Qualifications

​Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. NBRC RRT/CRT Certified, BLS/NRP and Neonatal Pediatric Specialist by NBRC preferably. 1 Year experience in ICU/NICU. Open to new RRT graduates to train
