LEAD RESPIRATORY THERAPIST - Full-Time - Generations at Oakton Pavillion

$48 per hour, Plus Full Benefits

Generations Oakton Pavillion in Des Plaines, IL, Seeks an Experienced Lead Respiratory Therapist for its Complex Care Unit. The Lead Therapist will Work Two 12 Hour Shifts on the Floor, and Two 8 hour Shifts in the Office. Will be On Call

Responsibilities of the Respiratory Therapist:

• Assist with developing and implementing a respiratory plan of care based on assessment and standards of care
• Daily rounds
• 24/7 accountability
• Implement physicians' orders
• Daily Isolation tracking
• Scheduling
• RT Disciplinary action
• RT,Nurse, CNA education
• New hire interviewing, hiring and orientation
• Equipment ordering, returns, and inventory

The facility's goal is to provide exceptional respiratory services and to implement a successful ventilator weaning program

of the Respiratory Therapist:

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program in Illinois
• Minimum AAS in Respiratory
• Minimum 2 year's respiratory experience, preferably in skilled nursing
• Minimum 1 year of demonstrated leadership experience
• ACLS, BLS
