Job Summary
Bournehill Investment Services, a growing Broker/Dealer, is officially accepting applications for the highly selective Junior Broker position in our Mineola, New York office. These individuals will gain the foundational skills necessary to becoming a successful investment professional. We will heavily focus on developing your skills in investment fundamentals, preparation, and presentation. The ideal candidate will have their Series 7 and 63 and/or 66 licenses, but Bournehill is willing to sponsor the right individuals for their securities licenses.
Responsibilities
- Use proprietary and industry systems and resources to find investment opportunities, research competitors, and identify new leads and projects.
- Research and contact potential investors to foster long term client relationships.
- Assist with proposals and presentations to new and existing clients.
- Update and assist in maintaining the company's internal database.
- Actively participate in all team meetings and trainings.
Qualifications
- Must be extremely coachable, highly motivated and competitive in nature.
- Must value business ethics, as well as teamwork and collaboration.
- Experience in sales and/or a professional office environment, or be a willing learner.
- Functioning knowledge of technology, including Microsoft Office, Google Docs and operation of CRM systems.
- Associates Degree or better preferred.
