Job Description- Working with a team to: 1. Review all students for appropriate Immunizations and send letters for compliance. 2. Review Physical Examinations of incoming students. Grades Pre-K, K 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11 are mandated grades. 3. Contact the parent for doctor's orders, medication and permission from the parent to allow the school nurse to administer the medication. This is for EPI PENS, inhalers and any other medications including over the counter medications. 4. Develop IHP's for students with medical needs including but not limited to Diabetes, Seizure Disorder, Asthma, Food Allergies. #4a. Serve on PTSI Committee for students with 504 Plans. 5. Present yearly EPI PEN Training at Faculty meeting. 6. Screen students for vision and hearing. 7. Screen grade 5 (girls) and 9 (girls and boys) for scoliosis. 8. Administer First Aid as needed. 9. Determine location of AED and determine who is CPR/AED trained.
