REQUIREMENTS:
- New York State Registered Professional Nurse License
- Current CPR/AED certification
- Minimum of one year of experience as a nurse, with pediatric experience
- Experience with the following preferred
- G-Tube Care and Feeding
- Blood sugar monitoring
- Suctioning
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide one-to-one direct care during the school day to students according to their IEP needs.
- Provide long-term management of student with special healthcare needs based on established medical plan
- Communicate clearly and proactively with parents, faculty, and staff
- Adhere to and promote all school health policies.
- Demonstrate initiative, leadership, organization, and decision-making skills, coupled with objectivity and good professional judgment.
- Maintenance of student medical documentation.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.

Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
