Registered Nurse Surgery Circulator - First Shift
Prescribes, delegates, and coordinates nursing care of patients, and provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting.
Job Description
- Assessment and identification of patient needs
- Implementation of appropriate interventions and delegation of nursing care activities
- Establishes and maintains a plan for the delivery of nursing care and assures that nursing care intervention s and activities are directed to resolve problems and performs technical aspects of care competently
- Demonstrate computer literacy and competence in use of existing technology.
- Works with surgical technologists, orderlies, and other staff to perform post-case cleaning duties
- Trained yearly on age specific care ad completes core competencies for patient populations designated in the Scope of Service.
Requirements
- Current licensure by the Kentucky State Board of Nursing is required.
Preferred Requirements
- One year nursing experience is preferred.
