SalaryOur medical center is looking for a Registered Nurse Manager to handle the day-to-day operations of our Geriatrics department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ordering necessary supplies, maintaining equipment and implementing the policies set forth by regulatory bodies. This position offers the opportunity to work with a highly trained and professional staff, in addition to working directly with patients and their families.
Responsibilities:
- Work with patients who have complex medical problems.
- Develop and implement plans for patient care.
- Assess the nursing staff's performance in meeting the needs of patients.
- Maintain the right mix of staff in caring for older patients.
- Manage a large staff of nurses.
- Supervise and evaluate the performance of other nurses.
