Form of workCoordinates with nursing, inter-professional and support services to plan, implement and measure organization-level changes which improve patient safety, clinical efficiency, and clinical quality.
- Supports hiring improvement initiatives. Leads projects as indicated.
- Partners with HR for hiring initiatives.
- Consults with Unit Based Leadership (UBL) to advise on hiring and new hire resources and tools applicable to specific needs as requested.
- Coordinates multiple projects and work streams to achieve objectives in a timely manner.
- Provides timely consultation to front line clinicians and leaders for hiring needs and system questions.
- Assures efficient and effective communication of hiring initiatives to clinician stakeholders.
- In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) required. Master's of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred.
Experience: Five years of progressive leadership experience which includes clinical nursing background.
Licensure: Must be a Registered Nurse and currently licensed to practice in the State of Virginia.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs.
