Location: Community Hospital
Responsibilities:
- The Registered Nurse will provide patient care.
- Explaining procedures/treatment to patient and family members to alley apprehension and to verify understanding of procedure.
- Assuring needed supplies and equipment are available as needed per surgical procedure; marks charges appropriately and rectifies charges where needed by Buyer.
- Administering prescribed medications in accordance with approved nursing techniques
- Continuously maintaining focus on surgical procedure in assigned room
- Assisting with room turn-over, including clean-up of supplies, instruments and equipment returns
- Demonstrating clinical expertise and contributes to the advancement of professional perioperative nursing practices by communicating current research and trends related to a specialty
Requirements:
- Requires current, unrestricted licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Colorado;
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing (or its equivalent) from accredited Registered Nurse Program
- At least two(2) years of experience and training
- BLS required upon hire
- ACLS must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
This position's pay range is: $37.00- $43.00 per hour, depending on education and experience.
Discretionary bonuses, relocation expenses, merit increases, market adjustments, recognition bonuses and other forms of discretionary compensation may be paid to eligible employees based upon organizational and individual performance.
