Contract Length : 13 Weeks

Straight rate (Local)- $63hr on W2 (without stipend)

Travel rate: $40 on W2 + $1099(Weekly nontaxable stipend) $2699(Weekly gross)

Shift: Full-Time-10 hour shifts

Job Description:

Location: Community Hospital, Canyon View Surgery Center

Responsibilities:

• The Registered Nurse will provide patient care.
• Explaining procedures/treatment to patient and family members to alley apprehension and to verify understanding of procedure.
• Assuring needed supplies and equipment are available as needed per surgical procedure; marks charges appropriately and rectifies charges where needed by Buyer.
• Administering prescribed medications in accordance with approved nursing techniques
• Continuously maintaining focus on surgical procedure in assigned room
• Assisting with room turn-over, including clean-up of supplies, instruments and equipment returns
• Demonstrating clinical expertise and contributes to the advancement of professional perioperative nursing practices by communicating current research and trends related to a specialty

Requirements:

• Requires current, unrestricted licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Colorado;
• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing (or its equivalent) from accredited Registered Nurse Program
• At least ten (10) years of experience and training
• BLS required upon hire
• ACLS must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
