Shift Info : Full-Time-10 hour shifts
- 10 Years of Experience as Operating Room/Circulate RN required.
- Current BLS through American Heart Association required
- ACLS Certification required
- Colorado state RN License required
- Bachelor’s Degree in nursing (or its equivalent) from accredited Registered Nurse Program required
Job description
- The Registered Nurse will provide patient care.
- Explaining procedures/treatment to patient and family members to alley apprehension and to verify understanding of procedure.
- Assuring needed supplies and equipment are available as needed per surgical procedure; marks charges appropriately and rectifies charges where needed by Buyer.
- Administering prescribed medications in accordance with approved nursing techniques
- Continuously maintaining focus on surgical procedure in assigned room
- Assisting with room turn-over, including clean-up of supplies, instruments and equipment returns
- Demonstrating clinical expertise and contributes to the advancement of professional perioperative nursing practices by communicating current research and trends related to a specialty
