Our Mobile Health Nurses perform in-home visits for clinical trial participants. A typical visit involves a drive to the participant’s home, with the collection of blood specimens via phlebotomy, a physical assessment, administration of questionnaires and other specific assessment tools, and performance of an ECG.
At most visits, blood specimens are processed in-home using a portable centrifuge, and samples are shipped to the study lab via courier. Research participants are assessed for adverse events and any new findings are reported.
Some visits may include specialty skills like pediatric assessment and phlebotomy, pulmonary function tests, neuromuscular assessments, and infusions. Different research studies have different needs and we will match your skills to the needs in your area.
We will provide paid training on how to do clinical trial visits and support you in your new career as a mobile clinical trials nurse. Seacole Health is a small nurse-run company that carries expertise in turning excellent clinicians into valued research team members. Learn more at SeacoleHealth.com
