As an Medical Surgical RN, you will provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients with a variety of medical conditions. Your role will involve assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality healthcare services.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of patients' medical conditions, including physical, psychological, and emotional aspects.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on the assessed needs and medical treatment plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring their effectiveness and potential side effects.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate and provide comprehensive patient care.
• Perform and assist with various medical procedures and interventions.
• Monitor and interpret patient vital signs and laboratory results, promptly reporting any significant changes.
• Educate patients and their families about their medical conditions, treatment plans, and self-care measures.
• Document all patient information, interventions, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner.
• Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and maintain a safe and therapeutic environment.
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide appropriate interventions.
• Adhere to professional, ethical, and legal standards of nursing practice.

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Prior experience in a Medical Surgical setting (preferred).
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Knowledge of common medical conditions, treatments, and medications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
• Flexibility to work weekends as required.
• CPR certification.
