Full time salaried position for an Occupational Health Registered Nurse in the Employee Health clinic.  The position is in person, 5 days a week, Monday to Friday onsite. Reports to NP clinic director, collaborates with multidisciplinary team including RN, MA and Administrative Associate.

Experience/Requirements:

  • Must have an active NJ RN license in good standing
  • Minimum 5 years clinical experience in occupational health, emergency department or related fields preferred
  • Occupational Health experience including NJ workers compensation desirable. BLS and ACLS certification required
  • Proficiency required in phlebotomy and administration of SQ and IM injections

Education: BSN preferred

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Management of occupational and non-occupational illnesses and injuries including medical emergencies: triage, perform nursing interventions, referral to the appropriate level of care

  • Case management of work-related injuries in collaboration with NP and WC TPA

  • Assessment of employees returning to work from personal and work related absences

  • Provide health education and vaccinations for international travel medicine program

  • Wellness activities including flu vaccination clinics and other company sponsored events

  • Administer medical surveillance programs: review of questionnaires, administration of vaccinations, lab specimen collection of urine and blood, physical examination, audiometry, spirometry etc.

  • Documentation using an electronic medical record

Our ideal candidate is dynamic and resilient, both clinically experienced and proficient and can work autonomously as a member of multidisciplinary team. Experience in Emergency Care is a plus. A strong focus on teamwork and excellent communication skills are required as the successful candidate must be able to interact with colleagues in the clinic and employees at all levels in the organization. Must have a strong working knowledge of computers including Microsoft 365 suite and electronic medical records.

U.S. Hybrid Work Model

Effective September 5, 2023, employees in office-based positions in the U.S. will be working a Hybrid work consisting of three total days on-site per week, generally Tuesday, Wednesday and either Monday or Thursday, although the specific days may vary by site or organization, with Friday designated as a remote-working day, unless business critical tasks require an on-site presence.  This Hybrid work model does not apply to, and daily in-person attendance is required for, field-based positions; facility-based, manufacturing-based, or research-based positions where the work to be performed is located at a Company site; positions covered by a collective-bargaining agreement (unless the agreement provides for hybrid work); or any other position for which the Company has determined the job requirements cannot be reasonably met working remotely. Under New York State, Colorado State, Washington State, and California State law, the Company is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this job. Final determinations with respect to salary will take into account a number of factors, which may include, but not be limited to the primary work location and the chosen candidate’s relevant skills, experience, and education.

Expected salary range:

$83,100.00 - $130,900.00
