Responsibilities of the Registered NurseEmergency Department The Registered Professional Nurse is responsible for managing, delegating, coordinating and providing nursing care through utilization of the nursing process.
The above is accomplished with the utilization of effective communication skills with patients, significant others and members of the multidisciplinary health care team. But most of all its people. Qualifications: Shift: Nights 7pm-7am 3 shifts per week Requirements of the Registered NurseEmergency Department National Certification in area of practice preferred. N.Y.S. Nursing License, Current N.Y.S. Registration.
Minimum 1 year acute care RN experience required. BLS required. ACLS and PALS within 6 months of hire. Successful completion of critical care and dysrythmia modules within six months of hire.
