Unit Summary:
D4 is a 30 bed intermediate care/Stepdown Unit. This unit cares primarily for cardiac patients in need of cardiac catheterizations, post STEMI/angioplasty, NSTEMI, post pacemaker insertion, CHF patient's, Atrial Fibrillation or other cardiac arrhythmia's and hyper/hypotensive patients, not meeting ICU admission criteria.
Hours: 36 hours per week, Evening/Night Shift, Every Third Weekend
Qualifications:
Critical care experience required
Able to read and interpret Tele strips independently
Must have excellent time management skills
Use of electronic based charting systems. Cerner experience is preferred.
BSN preferred
Valid BLS and ACLS required, PCCN or CVRN certifications preferred
