Registered Nurse RN AmbulatoryOB GYN Medical Office
Contingent (Minimum of 36 hours within 6-week period) Hours range between 6:30am - 5:30pm with some flexibility.
No Holidays/Weekends/On-call.
Location is the Henry Ford Women's Center - 3305 Spring Arbor Rd., Jackson
Responsibilities include In-basket, intake for all pregnancy patients, phone triage, result calling, C-section re-checks, injections, etc.
Preferred Qualifications: Minimum of 1 year RN experience. Ambulatory/Clinic/Medical Office experience a plus.
Must have either L&D, Post Partum, OB GYN or Emergency experience. BLS Required.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
Bachelor's Degree preferred. If you have your ADN, position is contingent upon you enrolling in a BSN program within 3 years, obtaining your BSN within 5 years.
Successful completion of Henry Ford Ambulatory orientation.
Maintains and demonstrates current clinical knowledge in area of specialty.
Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.
Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and medical group personnel.
Preferred experience in the specialty. Basic computer knowledge and keyboarding skills.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:
Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing as a Registered Nurse.
Current BLS or ACLS per Henry Ford Health policy.
Certification will be required when it is a regulatory requirement in the State of Michigan or a documented community standard, i.e., Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN).
