Pride Health is hiring for a Registered Nurse for a client in Milwaukee, WI! (Contract)
Schedule: M-F Day shift (8hrs)
Contract: 13 week contract
Pay Rate: $42-46/hour
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform/direct ACLS
- Independent rhythm interpretation and defibrillation
- Administration of advanced lifesaving medications o Independent, templated (“RN-only”) visits for patient assessment, with action taken based on established protocols and/or clinical practice standards using clinical judgement to determine intervention timing/specifics.
- Specialty patient education where certification/additional certificate is required for role (listed in job requirements)
- Sedation
- Telemetry monitoring & interpretation/management of rhythm changes
- Assisting with complex procedures - (RN doing care / work on patient, or RN has role in treatment / procedure, etc.)
- Advanced wound therapy (VACs, debridement, etc.)
- Central line management (TPA administration) and maintenance (dressing / cap changes, access / flushing)
- Device interrogation and interpretation with resultant action
- Complex infusions (concurrent infusions, hazardous medication administration, blood and blood products, etc.
Required Qualifications:
- Active RN license
- Pre/post op experience
- BLS Certification
- ACLS Certification preferred
