```Duties```
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). As a PICU Nurse, you will provide specialized care to critically ill infants, children, and adolescents. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Assessing patients' conditions and monitoring vital signs
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborating with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Providing emotional support to patients and their families
- Operating and maintaining medical equipment
- Documenting patient information accurately and thoroughly

To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Venipuncture: Proficiency in drawing blood samples for laboratory testing
- Pediatric Care: Experience working with children of all ages, from infants to adolescents
- Aseptic Technique: Knowledge of infection control practices to prevent the spread of pathogens
- ICD-9 and ICD-10 Coding: Familiarity with diagnostic coding systems for accurate documentation and billing purposes
- Ophthalmology: Understanding of eye care procedures and assessments specific to pediatric patients
- Occupational Health: Ability to assess and manage work-related injuries or illnesses
- Sonography: Proficiency in performing ultrasound examinations on pediatric patients
Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in [state]
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
