REGISTERED NURSE – PEDIATRICS
SITE OF SERVICE:
- Barksdale AFB Medical Clinic providing care at the following: Military Treatment Facility (MTF)
POSITION QUALIFICATION/REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree: Associates or Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
- Education: Graduate from a college or university accredited by National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC), or The Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
- Experience: Two years’ experience in the last three years
- Licensure: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse.
- U.S. Citizenship: HCWs performing under this contract shall be U.S. citizens.
- Able to read, write, and speak English well enough to effectively communicate.
- Shall be physically capable of standing and/or sitting for extended periods of time and physically capable of performing all services required under the contract and TO.
HOURS:
- The 2nd Medical Group is an Outpatient Clinic.
- The Clinic hours are from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays and down days.
- The HCW must not work more than 8 hours in a day or more than 40 hours per week
- Schedule will be flexible and adjust based on mission/clinic needs and hours will be between 6:00am and 6:00pm
- Every effort will be made to submit schedules at least 3 months in advance. However, at least 48hrs notice will be provided for any schedule changes. Hours worked beyond the normal duty day, which include overage, on-call and call back hours, must be authorized by the COR or Contracting Officer
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS
Must be comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Must be able and willing to reprioritize on short notice and work on multiple simultaneous projects. Flexible and able to work with various personalities. Team work skills required. Time management skills required. The ability to meet deadlines in a deadline intensive environment is essential. High level of adaptability and willingness to embrace change in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
