Job Title: Registered Nurse Ortho/Surgical Inpatient RN
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse Ortho/Surgical Inpatient RN to join our healthcare team. As an Ortho/Surgical Inpatient RN, you will be responsible for providing specialized care to patients undergoing orthopedic or surgical procedures. You will assess patient needs, monitor vital signs, administer medications, provide comfort and support, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure the highest level of patient care. Your role will be crucial in assisting patients throughout their hospital stay, promoting successful recovery, and preventing complications through your expertise.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assess and monitor patients' physical and psychological conditions pre and post-operatively.
- Administer medications and treatments effectively and according to physician orders.
- Monitor vital signs and initiate appropriate interventions based on patient condition.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and their families about procedures, post-operative care, and self-management techniques.
- Ensure the provision of timely and accurate documentation of patient assessment, care provided, and outcomes.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
- Follow infection control protocols and safety standards to prevent healthcare-associated infections.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and provide appropriate nursing interventions.
- Advocate for patients' rights and promote a positive patient experience.

Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid and unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the state of [insert state].
