Job Title:Registered Nurse (RN) at VA Midwest Health Care Network

Job Description:
- Completes mandatory and annual competencies for equipment and procedures, adhering to unit-based protocols.
- Maintains a current BLS certification and collaborates with other disciplines in the Medical Center.
- Participates in in-services, performance improvement activities, and customer service programs.
- Responsible for all elements of the nursing process including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care based on age-specific components.
- Administers medications and procedures following established policies and guidelines.
- Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to influence care outcomes.
- Demonstrates knowledge of quality improvement processes and customer service programs.
Qualifications:
- English Language Proficiency.
- Graduate of a school of professional nursing approved by accrediting bodies such as ACEN or CCNE.
- Registered nurse with a current, full, active, and unrestricted license.
- Various qualifications based on different education levels and experience.
