Waukegan Community Unit School District No. 60 serves nearly 15,500 students in preschool through grade 12 and is located halfway between Chicago, Illinois and Milwaukee, Wisconsin on the shores of Lake Michigan. Our District has one early learning center, 15 elementary schools, five middle schools and a high school program divided between two 9 - 12th grade campuses. The District encompasses portions of Waukegan, Beach Park and Park City.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Evaluator will be directly responsible to the Child Find Coordinator or her designee, take health histories, write reports in evaluations, and complete IEPs..
Responsibilities: Conduct health histories; write health reports; interview parents; contact medical providers upon receipt of release where appropriate to obtain medical information on Pre-K children who are under evalutaion by the Child Find Team; participate in IEP team evaluations/IEP meetings; present health reports at IEP meetings; complete all appropriate IEP paperwork; provide names and contact information for local health recources including the Lake County Health Department..
Qualifications: Must have a valid Illinois Professional Educators License; with School Nurse endorsement
Salary: $35 per hour
Additional Information: Candidates will work during the summer on designated days TBD to complete summer evaluations.
