ProCare Therapy is currently seeking a highly motivated and dedicated School Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team in Darien. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a school setting, providing behavior intervention services to students with special needs.
Overview:
- Full Time
- 5 Days a Week
- 37.5 Hours Per Week
- Start: As Soon As Possible
- End: June 2024
Responsibilities:
- Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or other qualified professional.
- Provide one-on-one behavior support to students in the school setting.
- Collect and record data on student behavior and progress.
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure consistency in implementing behavior plans.
- Participate in team meetings and provide input on student progress and behavior strategies.
- Assist in the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
Qualifications:
- Must hold a Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.
- Experience working with children with special needs, particularly in a school or educational setting, is preferred.
- Strong understanding of behavior principles and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of different students.
