Position Summary:
Balance NC is currently seeking enthusiastic, warm, and highly committed Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide individualized direct Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services, under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA®) and licensed professionals, working one-on-one with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in their home or in the community.
Responsibilities:
- Implementing skill acquisition and behavior reduction programs designed by the BCBA®.
- Collecting and recording data to track an individual’s behavior throughout sessions, according to the guidelines provided by the BCBA®.
- Completing required documentation including, but not limited to, session data and daily clinical notes.
- Maintaining a positive, collaborative, and professional attitude to guarantee the quality of service to those individuals who trust their care in us.
Qualifications:
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT®) certification. We provide the 40-hour training and supervision necessary for qualified applicants to obtain the RBT® certification.
- Preferred experience in Education, Child Development, Psychology or Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
- Bilingual (Spanish) speakers are highly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Reliable transportation.
- Must have an active cell phone and internet data.
- Hiring is contingent upon a successful background check and employment eligibility verification.
