Part-time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT/BT) Job Description:
Pediatric Advanced Therapy (PAT) is seeking a motivated and energetic professional to join our growing team in our Huntersville, NC location!
We are hiring a part-timeRegistered Behavior Technician (RBT) or Behavior Technician (BT) to provide one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children in a clinic setting. We are hiring for a part-time schedule as follows:
- Monday-Friday 3-6 p.m. (15 hours/week)
Schedules are subject to change based on client needs. Opportunities to add more hours at a later date are possible. Growth to full-time is an option if desired by the candidate.
RBT’s and BT’s are responsible for implementing skill acquisition goals and Behavior Intervention Plans designed and supervised by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
We are looking for professionals who really want to make a difference in the lives of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. PAT will provide initial training for new technicians and ongoing supervision from a BCBA.
Behavior Technician 40-Hour Course:
If you are not an experienced BT/RBT, you must complete 40-hour BT training on your own time before starting work. Upon hiring, new hires will be given course access to complete the 40-hour course.

Part-time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Job Responsibilities:
- Provide quality 1:1 instruction to children in the areas of communication, social, play, and adaptive skills
- Record objective daily data to reflect client progress towards goals
- Maintain objective daily session notes
- Maintain effective communication with team members and supervisors
Part-time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree (preferred) – preferably in a human service field (Education, health care related, etc.), Associate's degree considered
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification preferred.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour
