About The Role:

As a Regional Vice President of Retail Operations, you will play a pivotal role in leading and optimizing the performance of multiple dispensaries within the region. You will be accountable for driving revenue growth, enhancing Curaleaf's market presence, and fostering operational excellence across all locations. By collaborating closely with dispensary management teams, you will ensure the successful implementation of branding, marketing, and product programs while aligning with Curaleaf's overarching objectives.

Through innovative initiatives such as new store openings, product launches, and collaborative ventures, you will strengthen our market presence and drive growth. Additionally, you will establish and oversee performance standards to ensure that empowered teams are held accountable for executing the regional strategy, with key performance indicators (KPIs) serving as benchmarks for success. This role will require a high level of leadership, strategic planning, and collaboration with other departments to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

What You'll Do:

  • Maximize retail productivity, sales and profit, while partnering with the dispensary management team to ensure that standards of service excellence are continuously met and improved upon.
  • Maintain a presence in the field in order to effectively coach and support dispensary teams; drives engagement and builds trust in Curaleaf's leadership.
  • Ensure operational priorities, processes and procedures are communicated, understood and executed consistently across all locations.
  • Continuously improve operational performance in the business while considering consistency in operational processes, and the needs of the organization.
  • Build strategic action plans to capitalize on future growth opportunities & foresee future risks to build offensive strategies
  • Collaborate with marketing to build local strategy& drive execution
  • Deliver Curaleaf training completion and reinforces service, product, operations and management expectations through training and development of store teams.
  • Identify and communicate key responsibilities and practices to ensure the organization promotes a successful attitude, confidence in leadership, and teamwork to achieve business results.
  • Implement and drive brand initiatives, including overseeing the customer experience of the brand and community/patient/physician/governmental outreach within this channel.
  • Establish and monitor performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of retail operations and make data-driven decisions.
  • Manage financial budgets, forecasts, and reporting for the region.
  • Proactively collect voice of the customer feedback and uses feedback to improve customer experiences, implement new product offerings and assist in identifying trends and opportunities.
  • Challenge and inspire employees to achieve business results.
  • Work closely with cultivation and manufacturing to ensure proper inventory planning.
  • Understand and remain current on market demand for product offerings and ensures dispensary teams are trained to meet patient needs.
  • Create an environment in which a personal, customer-focused, and service-oriented mentality is standard. A critical element of the role will be to ensure that the environment and patient experience reflect Curaleaf's vision and values.
  • Interact closely with the Curaleaf compliance team to ensure all dispensaries and personnel follow State regulations, in all operations, processes, inventory management and protocol.
  • Drive and influence productivity and cost saving opportunities in all operational components.
  • Cross functionally collaborate on product design, development, packaging and other channels to ensure the product meets the needs of the stores and continues to drive overall brand strategies.
  • Provide financial budgeting, forecasting and reporting.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Travel Requirements: 80% of time spent in region.

What You'll Bring:

  • 5-7 years' experience in retail store sales, operations, and leadership in a high-volume retail environment with at least 5 years of multi-unit experience required.
  • 5+ years' experience in a leadership role
  • Proven success in building and leading highly motivated teams.
  • Strong personnel management and retail operations knowledge, including
    inventory control, loss prevention, retail POS systems, merchandising, customer
    service and budget preparation.
  • Solid business and financial acumen and reporting skills
  • Demonstrated track record in driving revenue and increasing store productivity.
  • A high-touch, credible, visible leader who could establish instant credibility and inspire the team.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels inside and outside of the organization.
  • Ability to manage up and give and receive feedback openly.
  • Demonstrate a high level of professional maturity and emotional intelligence.
  • Strong strategic skills with financial planning and operational savvy
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent people and organizational skills
  • Team player with the ability to gain consensus through collaboration and open dialogue.
  • A sense of urgency, high energy, and hands-on approach
  • Frequent travel across wide geographic areas is required.
  • Cannabis industry experience is a plus
  • Bachelor's Degree (BA, BS) in Business, Management, or related field preferred
