The Regional Vice President of Operations is responsible for efficiently and effectively delivering operations and maintenance (O&M) services to Inframark’s industrial and municipal clients in our Central Region.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Formulates goals, strategies, policies, and SOPs for the overall operation of the region and directs their execution. Ensures compliance with all Federal, State, local, and environmental regulations. Promotes and maintains a safe working environment.
- Ensures delivery of all services to meet contractual obligations while meeting/exceeding defined financial, operational, maintenance, billing, and customer expectations. Ensures compliance with enterprise risk management and governance programs.
- Leads their team in all aspects of people management, including hiring, orientation/onboarding, performance management, salary changes, promotions, training and development, transfers, and terminations. Monitors and reviews staff work and coaches to achieve optimum performance levels.
- Achieves growth targets by leading new business development activities (including the pursuit of Enhanced Services opportunities) and contract negotiations.
- Develops effective account management strategies to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
- Develops, implements, monitors, and leads operating budget, forecast, and five-year plan. Responsible for delivering financial targets while achieving regional objectives for growth, profitability, customer dedication, and employee performance and engagement. Delivers year-over-year, top-line revenue growth and improved operating margins.
- Defines operational performance metrics. Measures and leads performance tied to business objectives.
- Other duties may be assigned within management’s discretion.
Education/Experience: A BA/BS in Business Administration, Environmental Science, or Engineering is preferred. Confirmed 15 years of experience in a related industry. 10+ years of dynamic management experience.
Licenses/Certifications: Valid Driver’s License. A Water and/or Wastewater license is preferred.
Technical: Sophisticated proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Experience in water/wastewater treatment, distribution/collection, engineering, operations and maintenance, utility accounting/financial reporting, budgeting, and customer service. Proven experience in large, multi-unit business operations with P& L accountability.

Physical Demands: The work environment is characteristic of an office environment: sitting, standing, walking, bending, and lifting are required to perform job responsibilities. The employee must occasionally lift and move up to 20 lbs.
