As a Business Manager - Vice President in the Field Finance & Business Management team, you will be partnering with two Regional Directors of Wealth within the West division of Chase Wealth Management Field Leadership team to provide financial reporting & analysis and act as a finance partner in managing the business day-to-day. You will reinforce the firm's business model for generating customer value, drive financial and non-financial results and help field leadership achieve common objectives through our branch distribution network.
For this role, candidates must be able to physically work in either our Plano, TX or Irvine, CA offices 3 days a week and remotely from home 2 days per week. The specific schedule will be determined and communicated by direct management.
Job Responsibilities
- Serves as a trusted advisor to the Regional Directors, providing clarity on how to best use analytics to gain insights, evaluate metrics, and drive results
- Provides strategic analytical and business management support for the Wealth Management business, with the responsibility for planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and evaluating the division's and region's performance from every relevant perspective in collaboration with the Field Finance & Business Management team
- Leverages a deep understanding of business and financial principles and a working knowledge of key business drivers to coordinate, assess and help execute the long-term goals and priorities of the field leadership team
- Maintain budget and forecast for field headcount and expense; help drive expense management in the field
- Perform ad hoc analysis in support of financial and strategic goals
- Prepare business review materials
- Optimize 'bottom line' performance by creating and analyzing performance tracking and reporting
- Contribute to national initiatives
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Bachelor's degree - Finance/similar fields of study preferred
- 7+ years relevant Financial Services experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other financial applications
- Knowledge and understanding of financial principles and ability to link results to activities
- Outstanding written and verbal communications and ability to tailor message and style to different constituencies (e.g., Field, Finance, Executive Management)
- Ability to work collaboratively and develop strong relationships across the organization
- Strong personal management and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple (and changing) project deliverables at same time
- Business savvy and commercial judgment
- Some travel may be required
