Reporting to the Director of Vending, you are an important member of Red Bull North America's (RBNAs) Non-Commercial Foodservice sales team. You will contribute to volume, share, and distribution goals by selling and implementing national priorities at the regional level in the Vending, Micro Markets, and OCS/Pantry sub-segments. You will manage Vistar Operating Companies, USG Elite Members, and large Independent Vend Operators within a defined territory.
Job Description
DEVELOP REGIONAL MARKET TO DELIVER VOLUME GOALS
Distribution: Ensures all relevant Red Bull SKU's are stocked at Vistar Operating Companies to support Red Bull/customer schematics.
Pricing & Promotion: Helps develop and implement engaging promotions and consumer activations; Creatively sells Red Bull standards and price points in a way that resonates with the customer's needs, ensuring that promotions are accompanied by POS and incremental displays
Quality Points of Distribution (QPOD): Trains Operator sales teams to improve volume goal with new cooler placements
Initiate and cultivate Red Bull Foodservice Team, Region and Distributor Partner (DP) relationships
Increase awareness of assigned accounts, working with BU Field Marketing and partnering in projects to align National Accounts and Red Bull programs.
MANAGE LOCAL RELATIONSHIPS THAT INFLUENCE REGIONS/DIVISIONS/BANNERS OF ASSIGNED CHAINS
Establish 'Wiring Model' that ensures communication with all regional customer decision makers and execution to unit level.
Establish necessary tools and business review templates to ensure Red Bull personnel are reviewing similar data with local Distributor Partners (DPs) to ensure consistency across the region.
BUDGETS/ANNUAL PLANNING
Thoroughly manage budgets to deliver annual plan
Manage T&E spending to assigned budget
BUSINESS ANALYSIS & REVIEWS
Work with leadership to evaluate Return on investment with regards to all national/division/regional level programming and promotions
Guide post-promotion analysis, together with Category Manager, following all programs to evaluate promotional effectiveness
Use all available RBNA data and tools to develop a position of expertise within the Energy Drink Category with assigned territories
Pursue business relationships that result in Red Bull obtaining relevant retailer scan data, basket analysis data, etc. that inspires future strategy and better understanding of consumer purchase patterns
Analyze business/customers sales to define priorities and focus for the team
Conduct quarterly business reviews to update leadership on business, channel competition, opportunities, etc.
Provide Energy Insights that drive change in promotion, price, or display practices.
Qualifications
5+ years sales experience with demonstrated experience and established relationships with Vistar/USG Members
3+ years of experience selling premium brands across all Convenience Services sub-segments
In-depth knowledge of Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) and Vending Segment
Experience using internal and external data sources (i.e. IRI, Nielsen)
Negotiation experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree
Must be fluent in English, additional languages an advantage
Additional Information
The base salary range for this position is $101,000 to $113,000 + cash incentives
Actual salary offer may vary based on work experience.
The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
